The AfChix Tech Women Summit 2026 is a pan-African gathering bringing together women in technology, innovators, students, founders, and digital leaders from across Africa to connect, learn, and shape the future of tech.
Held alongside the Africa Internet Summit (AIS) 2026 under the theme “Rooted & Rising: Women shaping the future of Tech,” the summit will feature keynote speeches, mentorship panel sessions, lightning talks, networking opportunities, and hands-on technical workshops designed to empower and inspire women across Africa’s digital ecosystem.
As part of the AfChix Tech Women Summit 2026, delegates will have the opportunity to participate in two exclusive hands-on technical workshops designed to strengthen practical digital skills and real-world technical knowledge. The Virtualization & Cloud Computing Workshop will equip participants with foundational and applied skills in virtualization technologies and cloud environments, while the Learning Management System (LMS) Administration I Workshop will focus on configuring, managing, securing, and optimizing digital learning platforms. Led by experienced trainers Pauline Namwakira and Alphonce Odhiambo, these workshops are designed to provide practical, impactful learning experiences that empower women across Africa’s digital ecosystem.
